Pop-Up Drive To Benefit Community

First United Methodist Church (UMC), 64 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, will hold a Pop-Up Community Drive on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 9 to 11 a.m. Community members are invited to donate items at the event. The drive-through drop-off site will be the First UMC upper parking lot, accessible via the alley at the rear of church.

For the Hershey Food Bank, the church will collect nonperishable food items, including baked beans, peanut butter, pasta sauce not in glass jars, chunky-type soups, pancake complete mixes, pancake syrup, canned vegetables other than green beans or corn, canned mixed fruit, and canned pears, along with personal care items such as diapers in size 5 only, laundry detergent, paper towels, and sanitizing wipes.

Community members may also donate household items for Love INC's Personal Care Closet. Needed items are body wash, hand soap, household cleaner (screw-top preferred), dish liquid, and diaper cream.
