Great Beginnings Preschool recently celebrated Preschool Sunday during the contemporary service at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg. During Preschool Sunday, all preschoolers in attendance perform Bible songs they have practiced for weeks.

This year, the students sang "I've Got the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy Down in my Heart" and "My God Is so Great." Brianna Davis, one of the teachers in the 2-year-old program, accompanied the children on the piano, while other teachers and teaching assistants guided the children through the lyrics and motions.

Great Beginnings Preschool is accepting registrations for the 2025-26 school year. The school is located within First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 S. Decatur St. It offers a 2-year-old program on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, a 3-year-old program on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and morning prekindergarten programs appropriate for 4- and 5-year-olds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All morning classes are held from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
