Program To Discuss Fulton Theatre

The Elizabethtown Historical Society, 57 S. Poplar St., will host a special program on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7 p.m.

Speaker Jeff Coon will share about the Fulton Opera House. Also known as Fulton Theatre or The Fulton, the structure has been a cultural mainstay in the city of Lancaster since 1763. Named after Lancaster County native Robert Fulton, the building was constructed on the foundation of Lancaster's pre-Revolutionary jail.
