Program to teach sewing, quilting

Chester County 4-H will offer an introductory sewing and quilting program, Summer of Stitches, from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday to Friday, July 24 to 28, at the Romano 4-H Center, 1841 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook. During the week, campers will learn to use a sewing machine and will complete several projects, ending the week with a completed piece and top-stitched quilt. The camp is intended for children age 10 and older and will be appropriate for new and intermediate sewists.

There is a discount for current 4-H members. Registration will be available at https://4h.zsuite.org until Thursday, July 20, unless the program fills before that date. New families will need to sign up for 4-H before registering for the camp.
