Programs to teach children about saving money

Ephrata National Bank will offer Pigs in the Park on select Saturdays at various area parks. Children ages 2 to 12 are invited to attend and search for piggy banks hidden in the parks from 9 a.m. until noon or while supplies last.

Children who find a piggy bank may take it to any ENB branch location by Monday, Sept. 25, and receive a complimentary deposit into a new or existing Super Saver savings account. Pigs in the Park is designed to show children that saving can be fun and to help children establish a pattern of saving at an early age.

Pigs in the Park events will be held on Aug. 26 at Strasburg Community Park, 151 Precision Ave., Strasburg, and Lititz Springs Park, 24 N. Broad St., Lititz, and on Sept. 9 at New Holland Community Park, 400-498 E. Jackson St., New Holland, and Manheim Park, 15 E. High St., Manheim.
