Prospective Students Invited To Penn State Berks

Students who will be high school seniors in the fall and their families are invited to attend the Penn State Berks "Spend a Summer Morning" information program on Saturday, Aug. 6, beginning at 10 a.m. The campus is located at 1801 Broadcasting Road, Reading.

The program will begin with an information fair, staffed by college faculty and staff, followed by an admissions and financial aid presentation. Attendees will learn about Penn State's 275-plus degree programs, including the 24 baccalaureate and associate degrees that can be completed entirely at Penn State Berks.

Attendees will also receive in-depth admissions/application instructions and learn about academic research and internship opportunities, financial aid, student activities and athletics. After the presentation, students and families will have an opportunity to take a full campus tour with student Lion Ambassadors. At the end of the tour, they will be invited to enjoy Penn State's famous Berkey Creamery ice cream.

All students who attend this event will have their Penn State application fee waived.
