The Mountville Elementary School PTO will host its inaugural virtual spring basket giveaway drawing. Tickets may be purchased from Monday, March 15, to Tuesday, March 30, at https://go.rallyup.com/messpringraffle2021.

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 31, and they may pick up their prizes at Mountville Elementary School on Tuesday, April 6. Over 30 different baskets will be given as prizes, featuring items such as beach-themed goods, spa packages, designer purses, and restaurant gift cards. Prizes will be categorized in three levels. Additional prize details are available at the aforementioned website.

Proceeds will go toward supporting the students and staff of Mountville Elementary School by providing playground equipment, school supplies, incentives for students, and more. A portion of the proceeds will help the PTO to add a pavilion to the new outdoor classroom. The first phase of the classroom was completed in the beginning of the 2020-21 school year with assistance from the Mountville Welfare Organization. This phase included a 1,500-square-foot concrete patio with 10 metal picnic tables, which is now used by teachers as a setting where their students can get some fresh air. The projected cost of adding the pavilion is more than $40,000.
