Public safety program slated

The Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will offer "Workplace Threat Awareness and Active Shooter Resistance Training" on Tuesday, April 11, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The program will be held at Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road.

Topics will include increasing situational awareness, preparedness and prevention techniques, workplace violence, non-physical threat response tactics, response and reactionary procedures during an active shooter event, proper reporting and interaction with law enforcement, and post-incident safety and accountability. The training will be conducted by Jerry Harper, president and founder of Community Safety & Security Consultants.
