Jace Beegle was one of three Pequea Valley wrestlers competing in the PIAA Class 2A East Super Regional, held at Pottsville on Saturday, March 6. Beegle joined Nate Miller and Liam McGinley.

Wrestling in the 126-pound bracket, Beegle suffered two very close defeats as he bowed out of the tournament. In the opening round, Camp Hill's Christian Doi managed a 3-2 decision over the PV senior. In the consolations, Beegle lost a 4-2 decision to Evan Maag of Notre Dame-Green Pond.

McGinley lost a major decision to the eventual second place finisher, Aylen Smith of Notre Dame-Green Pond, in the first round of the 106-pound brackets.

McGinley was unable to wrestle his way back as a technical fall by Brock Weiss of Jersey Shore ended that quest.

In the heavyweight class, Nate Miller went to the consolations following a pin by eventual champ Riley Robell of Bishop McDevitt. Miller's competitive effort in the consolations came up empty as Caleb Burkhart of Hughesville prevailed 5-2 in a decision.
