Raven Ridge Receives Grants

Raven Ridge Wildlife Center has received a 2025 CLEAN Environment Award from Constellation, a producer of emissions-free energy. The grant will support constructing duck pens and acquiring critical support incubators, which increases the ability to house more animals and take in more baby animals.

The initiative is part of Constellation's commitment to environmental stewardship and creating cleaner, healthier communities. A total of 34 nonprofits received grants through The Constellation Foundation, which partnered with the company's environmental and sustainability teams to select the projects, which include construction and refurbishment of wildlife enclosures, urban tree planting initiatives, living shoreline installations, and youth nature programs.

The center also received a grant from the PPL Foundation, an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting community initiatives in the areas served by PPL Corporation's utilities. With funding from this grant, the center will provide 10 free Community Wildlife Safety programs to adult groups in Lancaster, Lebanon, York, and Dauphin counties. The program will help people learn about the field of wildlife rehabilitation and how to help animals in distress.

The PPL Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that are working to create vibrant, sustainable communities; advance inclusion; and support children's success from cradle to career in both Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
