REAL Life Event Seeks Volunteers

Lower Dauphin High School and Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania are seeking volunteers for Thursday, Nov. 10, for the REAL Life Program. All students in 12th grade will participate in the daylong program. It consists of a series of activities intended to help students gain an appreciation for the importance of owning their own economic success.

Half of the day will be spent on a Budget Builder activity. The other half will focus on helping students gain an understanding about going out into the real world after high school. The REAL Life Day is designed to help students gain an appreciation of the importance that financial decisions will play in their lives as young adults. For this day to be a success, volunteers are needed to facilitate one of the REAL Life activities for the day as students rotate through stations.

Junior Achievement will provide online training as well as on-site support to all volunteers. A light breakfast and lunch will also be available for volunteers.
