Recovery Day Seeks Sponsors

The Lancaster County Recovery Alliance is seeking sponsors for its 2022 Recovery Day, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17. The annual festive event at Buchanan Park in Lancaster aims to celebrate healing and help to normalize addiction recovery as a healthy and contributing factor toward a strong community.

Treatment centers, recovery-oriented programs, volunteer organizations, group and individual private psychotherapy practices, and other entities that offer recovery-oriented and health and wellness services, as well as businesses and organizations that consider themselves recovery allies, are invited to support the event.

Support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, and others are invited to bring materials and literature to the event at no cost. Those offering activities for participants are welcome to join at no cost.

Various sponsorship levels offer different levels of recognition and involvement before, during and after the event. All sponsors receive one table and two chairs, with options for electricity as needed.

Prospective sponsors and Recovery Day volunteers may find registration information and the sponsorship packet at http://www.lancastercountyrecovery.com.

Attendees may also sign up for the second annual Recovery Day Lancaster 5K and purchase lunch tickets at the aforementioned website. For more information, contact Scott Theurer, president of the Lancaster County Recovery Alliance, at lancasterrecovery@gmail.com.
