GEARS will offer several activities to the community. Unless otherwise noted, there is a per-person cost, with a discounted rate for GEARS members. To register or for more information, visit http://www.getintogears.org or call 717-367-0355.

Flow Yoga will be offered to participants age 14 and older from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, March 29 to May 24, in the cafeteria at Donegal Intermediate School, 1177 River Road, Marietta. The class is suitable for people of all fitness levels and can be modified depending on needs and abilities.

Chair Yoga will be held on Thursdays, March 30 to May 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at The Marriage Hub, 18 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, for individuals age 14 and older. The movements will all be performed from a seated or standing position.

Game Changer Canine Training will use games and exercises to teach concepts and skills to help dogs achieve calmness, optimism, impulse control, disengagement from distractions, and more. Classes will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays, April 3 to May 22, at Legion Park, Marietta. The class is open to individuals age 16 and older.

Two tai chi classes will be held in the basement at Masonic Village Carpenter Chapel, 1244 Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown, on Tuesdays, April 4 to June 13. Introduction to Tai Chi will be held from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. for individuals who are new to tai chi or who have not practiced in years. This class will focus on a 10-step Taiji form that introduces the basic postures of tai chi. Advanced Tai Chi will be held from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. for individuals familiar with the basic postures of tai chi, and it will integrate these postures with new moves.
