Retired Army chaplain to speak at meeting

The Lancaster Chapter Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) will hold a general membership meeting and luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Eden Resort & Suites, 222 Eden Road, Lancaster. The social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch and the meeting to follow.

The speaker will be retired Army Col. Peter Baktis, who served in the military as a chaplain and is currently the MOAA national chaplain and a member of the board of directors. Baktis has extensive experience in the Middle East and eastern Europe, having completed tours of duty in Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, and Bosnia.
