Mennonite Life will offer an author talk at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, on Thursday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. The program will take place in the West Bethany Chapel.

Joseph Gascho will share excerpts from his book "Heart & Soul: A Cardiologist's Life in Verse." Gascho, a poet and photographer, retired from cardiology practice at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey. In "Heart & Soul," Gascho uses verse to describe his journey to the field of cardiology and the complexities of practicing medicine with both humility and deep humanity.
