Robotics championship set for March 9

The FIRST Lego League Robotics Pennsylvania State Championship will be held on Saturday, March 9, at the Hershey Middle School, located at 500 Homestead Road, Hershey. The event will feature the best 24 FIRST Lego Robotics teams out of more than 350 teams in the state.

The FIRST Lego Robotics teams have advanced through local and regional competitions to reach the Pennsylvania State Championship. Winners from the competition will advance to the World Championship. Robot matches will run from noon to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. There will also be robot demonstrations.

The event is being hosted by FIRST Robotics Team 2539 - The Krypton Cougars from the Palmyra-Hershey area. For more information about the team, visit http://www.Team2539.com.
