Rodriguez Joins School Board

The Conestoga Valley school board announced the appointment of Diana Rodriguez as its newest school board director at its meeting on April 12. Rodriguez is filling the vacancy left by John Smucker, who resigned his seat in March. She will have the opportunity to run in the general election in November for the upcoming four-year term.

Rodriguez is the current director of student services at Camelot Schools of Pennsylvania. She held the position from August 2011 until July 2018 before returning to that role in September 2019. She also formerly served as a college and career project specialist at J.P. McCaskey High School in the School District of Lancaster and as a juvenile probation officer in Lancaster County for nearly a decade. Rodriguez also volunteers with the Women's & Kids Ministry at Journey Church.

Rodriguez is a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in sociology/criminology from Millersville University and her Master of Science in administration of justice from Shippensburg University.
