Field of Screams presented checks totaling $12,900 to three Ronald McDonald House Charities chapters on Dec. 4, 2024. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Pennsylvania (RMHC-CP) will receive $10,200 of the donation, and the Scranton Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern PA and Danville Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern PA will each receive $1,350.

Field of Screams works with a large number of charities every year and has been partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2009. Since this time, Field of Screams has donated a total of $170,060 to Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters.

The Ronald McDonald House was built on the idea that nothing else should matter when family members are focused on the health of their child - not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head at night.

All the Ronald McDonald house programs are free to families, including the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, the Ronald McDonald Family Room and Hospitality Cart at Penn State Health Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald Hospitality Kiosk at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, and the Cart with a Heart at UPMC Harrisburg. The organization relies on the community's generosity to keep services free for families.
