Addie Scott, a senior at Solanco High School, has been selected as one of Lancaster South Rotary Club's Students of the Month for May. She was presented to the club by Solanco High School principal Scott Long. Students of the Month are selected on the basis of academic excellence as well as school and community service.

Addie is the daughter of Jay and Heidi Scott of Nottingham. Addie swims for school and club teams. Addie is a three-time Lancaster-Lebanon League champion in the 100-meter freestyle and has also won league championships in the 200-meter freestyle and 100-meter backstroke. She also is a volunteer swim coach. Addie plans to attend Towson University, where she will be a member of the swim team.
