The Rotary Club of Paradise has announced its Students of the Month for April. The honorees, all high school juniors, are Qianxiang "Daniel" Ma from Lancaster Mennonite High School, Brooke Graham from Pequea Valley High School and Maya Longhi from Conestoga Valley High School. They were recognized for significant achievement as well as good character and citizenship.

Daniel is the son of Yingjun Wu and Jun Ma. At the Lancaster International Piano Festival, he won first place in the Junior Group, and at the World Piano Teachers Association Competition, he received the Golden Award and was recognized for giving the best performance of a piece by Liszt.

Brooke is the daughter of Brian and Michele Graham of Paradise. She has been the captain of the girls' varsity basketball team for two years as well as a member of the girls' varsity soccer team for three years. She is also involved in National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society. She was the German Learner of the Year for the 2020-21 school year. Outside school, Brooke plays club soccer and is involved in her church's youth group.

Maya is the daughter of Sarah LeTourneau and Gabe Longhi of Lancaster. She is president of Science Olympiad, executive social media manager of IMPACT and a member of the track and field team, the Creative Hearts Club, WLA, Science National Honor Society and Link Crew. She placed third in Science Olympiad build events and first in earth and environmental science at both the Conestoga Valley and NMSEF science fairs. She also won the VIP coaches award. Her volunteer activities have included Relay For Life, the charity closet at her school, food drives, collecting teddy bears at Christmas, raising money to help victims of earthquakes in Puerto Rico, a sock drive, and a pet supply drive. She also assisted Lancaster Science Factory and Millport Conservancy and worked at a nonprofit pretzel house benefiting various charities.
