The Hershey Rotary Club will host a high school student during the 2022-23 school year and is seeking host families for a three-month period during the year. Rotary International facilitates this international student exchange, which enables approximately 7,000 students to study abroad each year.

Host families must live in the Derry Township School District, provide room and board, exercise normal parental responsibilities and supervision of the student, and accept the student as one of the family. Host families must also work with the assistance of the Rotary counselor, if the student encounters any difficulties.

The Rotary Club provides the student with a monthly allowance for expenses and school lunches, and the student also has funds from his or her parents for clothing and entertainment. Health insurance will be provided through the Rotary International-sponsored program, and financial requirements of the host family are limited to room and board.
