Rotary District 7390 will hold a 1-mile walk/run in the spirit of fellowship, service, and peace in Harrisburg on New Year's Day, Thursday, Jan. 1. Participants should meet at Soldier's Grove, 531 Commonwealth Ave., Harrisburg, at noon. The walk will start at 12:30 p.m.

One of Rotary International's major objectives is working toward an international understanding of positive peace. District 7390 is designated as a Peace Builder District and aims to continue Rotary International's legacy of working toward positive peace on both local and global levels.

This year's walk will be a fundraiser to support for the 2026-27 Global Grant Scholarship.
