The Central Pennsylvania Vietnam Round Table will meet on Thursday, Aug. 11, at Vietnam Veterans of America, Michael J. Novosel MOH Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg, at 7:30 p.m. Following a brief business meeting, Robert "Gump" May of Hummelstown will discuss his Vietnam experience as a platoon commander for six months with B Company/1st Battalion/1st Marine Division and six months with A Company/1st Recon Battalion. He served in Vietnam from August 1969 through September 1970.

Back in the U.S., May spent many years as a football coach at various universities and schools, including Hershey, Bishop McDevitt, Palmyra and Central Dauphin East high schools.
