The Row House Forum will present "The Other Kid: A Biological Child Growing Up in a Foster Care Home" featuring Joshua Graber on Friday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Square Halo Gallery, 37 N. Market St., Lancaster.

Graber was raised in Lancaster County and is the executive director of the Stan Deen Foundation, an outreach that grew out of the film "Brave the Dark," which was shot in Lancaster. Graber will reflect on the beauty and complexity of foster care and adoption, the call for churches and communities to step in with care, and the importance of thoughtful preparation when opening a home to vulnerable children.
