Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to Zukin Realty's inaugural Running Home 5K/1-mile Walk in West Chester on Saturday, April 22. The charity race will follow a loop through the borough, beginning at Church and Market streets.

The Running Home 5K/1-mile Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. Bib pickup will begin on race day at 9 a.m. or at Zukin Realty's office, 121 E. Gay St., West Chester, on Friday, April 21, from noon to 6 p.m.

The event will raise awareness and funds for North Star of Chester County, a nonprofit homelessness prevention organization serving working single parents. Currently celebrating 30 years of serving the community, North Star of Chester County has helped hundreds of families remain in their homes. In addition to keeping families housed, the organization guides parents toward self-sufficiency with a structured program of ongoing rental assistance and extensive case management.
