SAAL posts Festival of Colors

The South Asian Association of Lancaster (SAAL) will hold its annual Festival of Colors on Saturday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Neffsville Park, 209 Petersburg Road, Lancaster. The event will celebrate Holi and Baisakhi. Holi is observed all over India to herald the onset of spring, which is viewed as a season of new growth, renewal, and hope. In historical scriptures, the Holi festival marks the triumph of good over evil.

The upcoming will include Indian food, snacks and cookies, traditional rituals (puja), colors, kite flying, water balloons, and games.

Limited tickets available, and there are required for everyone age 5 and up. Tickets will be discounted when purchased in advance, with a further discount for SAAL members; tickets are available at http://www.saal.us. Tickets may be purchased for full price at the door.
