SALT Performing Arts will present Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" at the SALT theater, located in the West Pikeland Township Building, 1645 Art School Road, Chester Springs. Performances will be held on Fridays, Oct. 14, 21 and 28, at 7 p.m.; on Saturdays, Oct. 15, 22 and 29, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and on Sundays, Oct. 16, 23 and 30, at 2 p.m.

The play is a Broadway adaptation of the classic musical fairytale. It includes songs such as "In My Own Little Corner," "Impossible/It's Possible" and "Ten Minutes Ago." The play is family-friendly, and a cast meet-and-greet will be held following each performance.

Sara Helmers, a 2016 graduate of Owen J. Roberts (OJR) High School, will portray Ella (Cinderella). She has also been featured in SALT's productions of "Singin' in the Rain," "Annie," "Seussical," "Nunsense," "Hunchback of Notre Dame," "Godspell" and "Cats."

Other OJR High School students involved in the production include Addison Kunsch, junior assistant stage manager, and Eva Burkholder, a member of the ensemble and featured dancer.

In addition to Sara, cast members include AJ Tantala as Topher (Prince Charming), Stephen Fisher as Madame (Stepmother), Megan Murphy as Charlotte (Stepsister), Shannon Murry as Gabrielle (Stepsister), Julie Booth as Marie (Fairy Godmother), Joey Bertoni as Jean-Michel, Evan Albright as Sebastian and Michael Styer as Lord Pinkleton.

Ensemble featured dancers, in addition to Eva, are Katy Engelman, Bailey Knipe, Molly Hopton, Erica Barnes and Krysta Stefanosky, who is also the Ella understudy. The ensemble includes Katie Parker, Bethanie Emery, Madison Ritter, Isabella Vanore, Shane Olinger and Karly Thomas, who is also the understudy for the stepsisters. Sprites will be played by Elliot Emery, Matilyn Houpt, Emilia Parker and Ellie Ruffino.
