SALT To Stage "White Christmas"

SALT Performing Arts will present "White Christmas," the musical adaptation based on the 1954 film of the same name, at the SALT theater, located in the West Pikeland Township Building, 1645 Art School Road, Chester Springs. Performances will be held on Fridays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16, at 7 p.m.; on Saturdays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and on Sundays, Dec. 4, 11 and 18, at 2 p.m.

The musical revolves around veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, who have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters enroute to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, where they discover that the lodge is owned their former army commander.

The play features well-known standards, including "Blue Skies," "I Love a Piano," "How Deep Is the Ocean?" and the title song, "White Christmas." A cast meet-and-greet will follow each performance, as well.

The cast includes Kai Kasiguran as Bob Wallace, Schyler Marsh as Phil Davis, Cathy Ogden as Betty Haynes, Samantha Roche as Judy Haynes, Paul Laich as Gen. Henry Waverly, Sandi Joy Chadwich as Martha Watson, Paige Heckler and Ollie Gregorio as Susan Waverly, Jim Warrenfeltz as Ralph Sheldrage, Katy Engleman as Rita and Samantha DeWitt as Rhoda.

Other cast members include Chris Dzap, Katrya Oransky-Petyk, Stephen Fisher, Erica Barnes, Eva Burkholder, Elizabeth Tozer and Brian McVeigh.
