Salvation Army to offer coats for children

The Salvation Army, 131 S. Queen St., Lancaster, will offer its Coats for Kids program. People may register in person on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 1 to 7 p.m.

The program is open to all children birth through age 16. Coats in sizes 2T through young adult sizes will be available. Children smaller than size 2T will receive hats, gloves and blankets.

Those registering children must present their driver's license, passport or state ID as well as a birth certificate or medical card with the date of birth for each child.
