Samaritan Center Announces Leadership Transition

The Samaritan Center has announced that Simon Dietz has been appointed as the organization's interim executive director, effective Saturday, Jan. 3. He will replace Steven Schedler, who has accepted a new opportunity with TrueNorth Wellness Services after five years of service at the Samaritan Center.

Dietz has served as the organization's clinical director and has been instrumental in advancing key initiatives, including Samaritan's new Training & Residency Program. His understanding of the Samaritan Center's mission, strong relationships in the community, and collaborative leadership style will help him to guide the organization during this period.

In the coming months, the board of directors will form a search committee to determine the process for selecting Samaritan's next executive director through a thoughtful and thorough search.

The Samaritan Center remains deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health services, and all programs will continue without interruption.

Those who have questions may reach out to the board of directors at board@samaritanlancaster.org.
