Scepanski Named Football Coach

Jonathan Scepanski has been officially named the next head coach of the Conestoga Valley High School (CVHS) varsity football team. His appointment was approved at the school board meeting on May 9.

Scepanski comes to CVHS after serving as the head coach at Northeastern High School, Manchester, from 2013 to 2021. His Northeastern teams advanced to the playoffs four times under his tutelage. Scepanski served as the team's offensive coordinator in 2012 before taking over as head coach the following season. Prior to arriving at Northeastern, Scepanski spent three years on the CVHS sidelines as the defensive coordinator and quarterback coach.

Scepanski is a graduate of Solanco High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in health and physical education from West Chester University, West Chester, and received a master's degree in classroom technology from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre.

In addition to his head coaching duties, Scepanski has been hired as a seventh-grade wellness teacher at Gerald G. Huesken Middle School. He will assume that role effective Friday, July 1.
