Scholarship opportunity posted

The Natalie A.W. Leaf Scholarship Fund will award $2,500 scholarships.

Leaf was a West Chester native and elementary school art teacher who was passionate about skilled craftsmanship and the power of education to transform lives. In the early 1960s, Leaf began restoring her home and discovered a shortage of skilled craftspeople. Upon her death in 1989, her home and antiques were auctioned off to create a scholarship fund to encourage Chester County residents to preserve these arts.
