Part of the vision of Mennonite education in general and Kraybill Mennonite School in particular is to serve others, especially during the Christmas season.

Every year the school chooses a local organization to support with gifts in lieu of children exchanging gifts in their classrooms. This year, the school decided to partner with Mount Joy Helping Services, located on the corner of Mount Joy and Concord streets in Mount Joy, to provide various food and household items for people who are experiencing hardship this winter. Students and their families contributed food items, gift cards, and household supplies.
