To celebrate Rubber Ducky Day on Jan. 13, the Heritage of Green Hills, a healthy life plan community in Shillington, held races, rides and a water volleyball game on two huge inflatable ducks in its heated pool.

In addition, dozens of traditionally sized rubber duckies were hidden throughout the community's public spaces for residents to find. Over the holidays, the residents relocated "Elf on the Shelf" style items often in clever ways, and the small rubber ducks were expected to make similar migrations over the weeks following Rubber Ducky Day.
