Seniors of the Month honored

Brady Kline and Annika Shull have been selected as Seniors of the Month for February at Manheim Central High School. The Women's Club of Manheim sponsors the Girls of the Month, and the Rotary Club of Manheim sponsors the Boys of the Month. The Seniors of the Month are chosen by the professional staff of the high school based on academic achievement, character, and involvement within the school and community.

Brady, 17, is the son of Carrie Kuhn and Scott Kline of Manheim. He is a member of Rho Kappa Honor Society, Math Honor Society, BNN Club, and Inclusion and Diversity Club. He is also involved in making the school broadcast every day. With his Advanced Placement Government class, he participated in a Senator for a Day program in Harrisburg. Brady is a member of Erb Mennonite Church and participates in the church's youth group. He plans to attend college to study political science with a minor in multimedia journalism; his goal is to become a political journalist.

Annika, 17, is the daughter of Kristina Wilson and Randall Shull of Manheim. She is president of the Amnesty International Club and serves as secretary for the Thespian Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, La Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, and the National Honor Society. She is also involved in the Math Honor Society, the Spanish club, and the Spanish tutoring program. She performs for Baron Stage Theatre as well as local community theaters. Annika volunteers at both the Manheim Historical Society and Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community. She attends church at Manheim Brethren in Christ. She plans to attend college to work toward a secondary social studies certificate; she intends to minor in Spanish.
