Seniors of the Month recognized

Cole Lubeskie and Belle Bonanno have been selected as October's Seniors of the Month at Manheim Central High School. The Manheim Women's Club sponsors the Girls of the Month, and the Rotary Club of Manheim sponsors the Boys of the Month. Seniors of the Month are chosen by the professional staff of the high school based on academic achievement, character, and involvement within the school and community.

Cole, 17, is the son of Liz and Geoff Lubeskie of Manheim. Throughout high school, Cole has been a percussionist in the band, a choir member and a member of the golf, ice hockey and tennis teams. He is an honors student and a member of the Math National Honor Society. He is a member of the Attollo Leadership program. Cole is a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lititz and enjoys volunteering. He plans to attend college to study a science field.

Belle, 17, is the daughter of Adam and Carrie Bonanno of Manheim. She is a member of the girls' tennis team, Student Council, the medical careers club and Aevidum, and she was accepted into the Rising Senior Program at Union University in Tennessee. In the community, Belle attends Lives Changed By Christ (LCBC) HSM, volunteers as a third-grade girls' small group leader in the kids' ministry at LCBC and performs at Manheim Performing Arts community theater. Belle plans to attend college to pursue a degree in nursing or broadcasting.
