Shadow Dance Performance Planned

The Arts at Millersville University will present a performance by The Silhouettes on Sunday, Nov. 13. at the Winter Visual & Performing Arts Center, 60 W. Cottage Ave., Millersville, Pennsylvania. The event will start with lobby activities for kids at 2 p.m. prior to the 3 p.m. show titled "LOVE Happens." A question-and-answer session with the cast will be held following the performance.

"LOVE Happens" is a family-friendly shadow dance story filled with many types of love, including friendship, the love between family members, the love of a pet, and romantic love.

Founded in 2009, The Silhouettes is a shadow dance company created and directed by Lynne Waggoner-Patton. The group was the first runner-up on season 6 of "America's Got Talent" in 2011 and the Golden Buzzer winner on "America's Got Talent: The Champions" in 2020. The group has toured around the world, been featured on TV programs, created customized corporate events and participated in charitable efforts. The Silhouettes trains, films and performs its live shows at its theater in Westminster, Colo.
