State Rep. Tom Jones will hold a shredding event on Thursday, April 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot at St. Paul's Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown.

Residents of the 99th legislative district are invited to dispose of documents containing sensitive information such as bank account numbers, credit card numbers or Social Security numbers. The service will be provided free of charge to residents of the district only; it is not open to businesses.

Up to three boxes or bags of paper per household will be allowed. Magazines and books will not be accepted.
