Daniel Foltz and Caroline Foltz, children of Don and Christy Foltz of Millersville, have been recognized for their academic excellence at the university level.

Daniel has been named to the dean's list at Villanova University for the spring 2023 semester. Daniel, who is pursuing degrees in both economics and accounting through the Villanova School of Business, currently is an intern with Deloitte & Touche, based in the firm's McLean, Va., office. During the spring semester, he also was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society recognizing the top 10% of undergraduate students in the top 5% of business schools in the world.

Daniel is a 2020 graduate of Penn Manor High School.

Caroline has been named to the dean's list and athletics director's honor roll at Virginia Tech for the spring semester. Caroline is a member of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving team and the Honors College, and she earned a 4.0 GPA in both her first and second semesters. She recently completed a summer study abroad semester in London.

Caroline graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2022 as salutatorian.
