Siblings Receive Collegiate Recognition

Daniel Foltz and Caroline Foltz, children of Don and Christy Foltz of Millersville, have been recognized for their academic excellence at the university level.

Daniel was named to the dean's list for the fall 2022 semester at Villanova University. Daniel, who is pursuing degrees in both economics and accounting through the Villanova School of Business, will intern this summer with Deloitte & Touche in the Audit & Assurance group, based in the firm's McLean, Va., office. He also is involved in the university's Business Analytics Society, Economics Club, and Sports Analytics Club. Daniel is a 2020 graduate of Penn Manor High School.

Caroline Foltz was named to both the dean's list and athletics director's honor roll for the fall 2022 semester at Virginia Tech. In addition, as an Honors College student earning a 4.0 GPA in her first semester, Caroline was named an Honors College Norrine Bailey Spencer Strong Start Honoree. Based on her academic performance, Caroline has been selected to attend classes in London this summer and has been awarded the college's Geo Scholarship for study abroad.

Caroline, a member of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving team, is pursuing Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English and creative writing, with a minor in cinema, through the Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. She also is a member of the Virginia Tech Honors College.

Caroline graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2022 as her class's salutatorian.
