Sierra Club Plans Discussion

The Sierra Club - Lancaster Group Movie Club invites the public to participate in a Zoom discussion at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17. Discussion will center on two movies: "The Biggest Little Farm," directed by author John Chester, and "Honeyland," directed by Tamara Kotevska and Ljubomir Stefanov. There is no charge to participate.

Those planning to join the conversation are advised to view the films prior to the event. The films are available to stream from various online services, where fees may apply, or community members may check with their local library for availability.

"The Biggest Little Farm," a 2018 documentary, follows a couple through successes and failures as the couple works to develop a sustainable farm on 200 acres outside Los Angeles. A drama released in 2019, "Honeyland" chronicles the life of a woman who utilizes ancient beekeeping traditions to cultivate honey in the mountains of North Macedonia.
