Sierra Club To Discuss Wildlife

The Sierra Club - Lancaster Group will host a presentation titled "DIY Salamander Garden - How to Attract Native Salamanders and Wildlife to Your Yard" at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The program will be held at Stone Independent School, 480 New Holland Ave., Suite 7101, Lancaster.

Zach Barton, a high school biology teacher and long-time member of the Lancaster Herpetological Society, will deliver the presentation. Barton believes ecology is a lifestyle more than a subject and will discuss his quest to attract salamanders and other critters to his urban yard.
