The Lancaster Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will present a silent film, "Sherlock, Jr.," accompanied by Don Kinnier, a well-known silent film accompanist and organist, at First United Methodist Church, 68 N. Church St., Ephrata, on the church's Mohler pipe organ. The event will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 22.

A romantic comedy, "Sherlock, Jr." stars Buster Keaton and Kathryn McGuire. The film runs 45 minutes and will be followed by a discussion about playing for silent movies, including what goes into turning the action into music.

The public is invited to attend. There is a suggested donation to cover event costs.
