Singaporean pianist to perform

Congyu Wang will perform in concert on Saturday, March 22, at the Trust Performing Arts Center, 37 N. Market St., Lancaster, as part of the Lancaster International Piano Festival concert series. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Wang is an internationally renowned soloist who has garnered acclaim as a recitalist, accompanist, and chamber musician. He has been successful in international piano competitions, winning the grand prize in Berlin and Bordeaux, in addition to many other awards. Presenting more than 800 recitals from France and Italy to Spain and Portugal, Wang has performed for diplomats and dignitaries worldwide. He has a repertoire including 30 piano concertos, he has released two albums, and he is an ambassador to several charitable foundations for young musicians and refugees. He was born in Singapore.
