SMPS Donates To Water Street Mission

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Central Pennsylvania Chapter donated funds to the Water Street Mission, a nonprofit organization located in downtown Lancaster and committed to serving the homeless community. SMPS donated $300, which came from the chapter's proceeds from its June 30 virtual event, "Shortlist Presentations Are Changing ... Again: Developing Resilient Speaking Teams."

The Water Street Mission provides those experiencing homelessness or poverty with the tools they need to build a hope-filled future. The city campus includes a dining hall; a shelter for men, women, and children; a computer center; counseling; and life-skills coaching.
