The Historical Society of the Cocalico Valley (HSCV) will host a program titled "Court Cavalier Anna Thoma" on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 167 E. Main St., Ephrata. Lydia Jones, Ephrata Cloister visitor service associate, will speak about Thoma's monastic life at Conrad Beissel's settlement and her contributions as a hymn writer and singer.
