The Lampeter-Strasburg Softball State Champions Victory Parade will take place on Thursday, July 15. The parade will depart the Strasburg Rail Road, 301 Gap Road, Ronks, at 6:30 p.m. and return to the front of Martin Meylin Middle School at approximately 8 p.m.

The parade will go through Strasburg on Route 741 to the red light in Lampeter. It will turn left onto Lampeter Road, right onto Penn Grant Road and right at Caruso's on the northbound route of Willow Street Pike. The parade will continue to the intersection of Willow Street Pike and Beaver Valley Pike, taking a right at the Willow Street Restaurant and Diner. The parade will proceed on Route 741 East to the square in Lampeter, turning left onto Lampeter Road and making a right onto Pioneer Road to the first entrance to the Lampeter-Strasburg School District campus.

Community members are encouraged to assemble in front of Martin Meylin Middle School for a meet-and-greet after the parade. The meet-and-greet will include remarks and presentations from government officials and school administrators as well as the introduction of the team members.

The parade will include the Lampeter-Strasburg varsity state championship team and coaches, the junior varsity team, parents of players, siblings and extended families of players, government officials, school administrators, community athletic organizations, fire companies, police departments, local businesses and past state champions.
