A number of Solanco football players were honored as all-stars at the annual Lancaster-Lebanon League football banquet on Nov. 30 in Mount Gretna.

Connor Smith was named Section Two Outstanding Lineman of the Year, and Josiah Forren was named Defensive Back of the Year.

First Team all-stars were Elijah Cunningham, WR and DB; Jason Todd, OG; Smith, OT (unanimous) and DT; Cole Gladfelter, OT; and Trent McDowell, PK and P. Honorable mention recognition went to Nick Defrancesco, C, and Elijah Reimold, LS.

Academic All-Stars were also recognized. On the First Team (3.75 to 4.0 GPA) were Trent Henry, Logan Furches, Cole Gladfelter, Josiah Forren, Brody Mellinger, and Andre Mohler. Second Team honorees (3.5 to 3.74 GPA) were Nick Defrancesco and Trent McDowell, and honorable mention recognition (3.25 to 3.49 GPA) went to Aden Herr.
