The Manheim Lions Club will host guest speaker George Schwartz, a U.S. Army retiree, at its first general meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Manheim EMS Building, 60 W. Colebrook St. Schwartz will discuss the proposed Manheim Veterans Memorial Plaza, to be located near Rettew Stadium.

The meeting is open to the public. All attendees are welcome to stay after the presentation to learn more about the Manheim Lions Club and how it serves the Manheim community.
