Hershey Area Neighbors and Newcomers Club (HANNC), will meet at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11.

The speaker will be Susan Plant, who served with the Peace Corps in the Sedhiou region of Senegal in West Africa. Plant will share about how she became involved in the Peace Corps and the intense language and cultural training she had to complete.

HANNC meets on the second Thursday of each month from September to April. Guests are welcome.
